Who are we?

We are the VLHS. The idea for a dedicated VL program began in late 2016. Launched in early 2017, the brand has grown into a recognised home of VL hockey in Victoria, covering news, scores, reviews and previews.

In 2018, VLHS joined 98.1FM for its second season and became the station's top-rated sports program in both 2018 and 2019. The brand has since expanded into the VLHS podcast, featuring match analysis and more from across the competition.

Methodology

This website turns match and fixture data into standings, form, team profiles, Elo ratings, schedule analysis and season projections. Elo updates after each result using opponent strength, venue and result margin. Forward-looking figures use current ratings and simulations of the remaining schedule. Predictions are estimates, not certainties, and are refreshed as new results become available.
